You will be part of the "Analytics & Behavior Change" team that designs, develops, and delivers software applications that empower business users with more efficient workflows and advanced analytics, so they can do their jobs faster, better, and more accurately. As a Product Management group, we are product owners, Solution Strategists, QA experts, and release mangers who set the vision of the products we build and coordinate the entirety of the product lifecycle. We work with our business partners to identify and prioritize value. We orchestrate the work across IT, design, data engineering, data science, BI, and application development.

As an Senior Manager, QA Engineer at CVS Health you will be testing components of the Underwriting Platform, a software application that serves financial users from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business unit. You will work on testing multiple components of multiple applications, and your primary responsibility will be ensuring that Underwriting Transformation Products are delivered of high quality and on time.

Your role is vital to ensure that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers.

What you will be doing:End to End Quality Solution -

• Leading department vision, mission, values and goals
• Being responsible of end to end testing solution for an ecosystem of various brand new and existing applications.
• Support the development of comprehensive test strategies, plans, reports, and environments for manual or automated testing for multiple IT projects in a release cycle.
• Implement the quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risks assessment and mitigation.
• Lead Automation framework development from scratch and enhance existing framework.

Team-Building and Stakeholder-Management -

• Status reporting to project stakeholders, and executive leadership
• Maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external partners
• Supporting, and unblocking team with various day to day challenges
• Create team standards and processes to enhance and maintain effective performance, and also foster a culture based on empathy and integrity
• Share insights across teams, and review work of more junior team members

Required Qualifications

• 10+ Years of experience in development of test strategy, test schedule, estimates, detailed test cases and execution to ensure adequate test. coverage for projects following iterative agile/scrum methodologies.
• 4+ years of experience on SQL queries, automation tools and technologies are a must.
• 1+ Years of experience directly managing a manual and automation QA team
• Strong understanding of different types of testing including but not limited to: Functional, Integration, Regression, shakeout, E2E etc.
• Experience with Continuous Integration environments (e.g., Jenkins, GIT, CICD)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including developing and presenting strategic plans and presentations to executive and technical audiences with the goal of obtaining feedback and alignment on project goals and delivery strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Quality assurance experience of finance applications. Experience with insurance and pharmacy benefit management a plus.
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency and understanding in Datawarehouse, Big Data, Cloud, Agile Methodology, DevOps is a plus

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, Health Policy, or other related field, or Advanced Degree

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
