~15 years ago I sat at my shiny new desk in the Hueys Restaurant home office googling "how to get a story in the news" because I now realized this was part of my job. And I had no idea how to do it.Today, my team and I stand before these people to work with them on a comprehensive marketing strategy, timeline, and budget for their 2025 year.Life is wild. Careers are not linear. To go with the flow is one of the hardest and most rewarding lessons I have learned.

It's been one of those days that reminds me why I love my job and remain encouraged by our community.I started the day in Whitehaven at Chuck Hutton Toyota, where they announced the addition of an EV charging station and solar farm (with alpacas!). A brand new concept to the region, and the first dealership nationwide to do so. Now, I'm ending the day at the Downtown Memphis Commission Women Who Build event where we discuss women in power, managing expectations, handling discrimination, and more. As always, it happens with a fabulous team by my side. May we remember to choose gratitude and joy, even when it's not the obvious choice. #memphis #publicrelations #marketing

I fell a bit into our niche at Campfire Collective, not realizing there was such a need for community-focused marketing. Turns out there is, and it's a bit of kismet that people ask for the very perspective that drives my passion. I leave the New Memphis Annual Leadership Summit reinvigorated every year. Today, I took this one photo + 40 more of presentation slides that I plan on using to implement in my business operations soon.
